La Stinoise, Lauzerte
We stayed at LaStinoise for 1 night as we were walking our way to Compostella. We arrived exhausted with our 3 kids and discovered a wonderfully peaceful house. Nice furniture, very comfortable beds, beautiful individual bathrooms. Felt like home.
Colin & Astrid are waiting for you and welcome you very warmly.
Breakfast is better than in a hotel. Home-made jams, hot chocolate, tea, bread, you couldn’t start the day in a better way. With fully recharged batteries.
We’ll keep a very special memory of our stay @LaStinoise and recommend this house to anyone.

If you want to explore a piece of genuine France, La Stinoise is the place. La Stinoise is beautifully located in the countryside at Lauzerte and welcomed us with its pretty light blue typically French shutters. We loved the large garden to relax in the afternoon with the view to the old town. The rooms are decorated in a genuine French style; as we had great weather, we did unfortunately not spend much time in there. Our hosts welcomed us with generosity and warmth and we experienced the best hospitality with fantastic food and wines. They also helped us with deciding what do to, as we were spoiled for choice: A visit to the market in close-by Montcuq and a visit to the great vineyard of Chateau de Chambert. We had a lifetime of fun when paddling with a canoe for a couple of hours from Saint Antonin Noble Val. Thank you so much, Astrid and Colin, the best BB “deluxe” we have ever stayed at and you really made our trip to France something extraordinary to remember for a lifetime. We will come back, for sure. Merci beaucoup!

My wife and I have been regular guests at Lauzerte's hidden gem, La Stinoise for the last 5 years and would gladly and highly recommend this boutique style auberge to anyone in search of a great place to lay down your head while enjoying the fabulous Quercy area.
Colin and Astrid are superb hosts and their relaxed but very efficient style makes every stay a memorable and enjoyable one - especially the delicious breakfasts. The rooms are spacious and extremely clean and comfortable- very hard to beat anywhere in our view. From the garden, there are inspiring vistas of the medieval town of Lauzerte which sits on a hill overlooking La Stinoise. It’s only minutes away by car or an enjoyable walk. The location and facilities of this B&B make it for us the perfect base while visiting the many historic towns, enjoying the incredible natural scenery or partaking of the many activities and adventures that seem to be never-ending within a 100 km radius. You will have to go a long way to find something as good as La Stinoise in terms of quality and cost.

I have been travelling to La Stinoise twice, first with my family in 2010 and again this year, when I went on my own. It is like a special retreat for me, I arrive, unwind and go back with my batteries recharged. The calm character of the house, the lovely garden and rural surroundings as well as the hosts Astrid and Colin have had their impact. The two make every effort to make you feel welcome and at home. Our room was big, decorated in a beautiful country style and with a large, tastefully designed en-suite bathroom, what else can you ask for. La Stinoise as a whole feels like a place created with love by lovely people. With space being luxury in England, here you can find yourself somewhere tucked away in peace with yourself (well, maybe one of the furry friends comes along to look after you) or running over the fields to get an extra portion of air. I would not hesitate to recommend your holiday home to friends. Thank you Astrid & Colin for making our stays so special. We'll all be back! :)
La Stinoise is a beautifully proportioned Manor House situated in the river valley beneath Lauzerte. It's tucked away in a peaceful, rural setting with great views up to the lovely bastide town. A great spot for visiting this and many of the other bastide towns in the south-west. The owners made us feel extremely welcome and relaxed. We can recommend their cooking too. The rooms in the house are superbly proportioned and very tastefully appointed. You certainly won't be disappointed by the hospitality, the house or its location. We are looking to returning at our next opportunity.

The Beehive, Lincoln
This is the 2nd time we booked this home because it’s the best Airbnb we’ve stayed in & we’ve stayed in A LOT. It's walking distance to restaurants, pubs & the sights of Lincoln. Every amenity is available & there is nothing more they could do to improve it. It truly is ”sparkling clean”, loads of fluffy fresh towels, provisions in the kitchen, a reserved parking space, comfy big beds, fans, a tv with Netflix, the list goes on.....we will be back for a 3rd visit! I’d highly recommend staying here.

Our Home away from home
We loved your location and private parking space. In the center of everything, but hidden away. The neighbors were friendly. The restaurants are excellent. Atmosphere perfect with the church bells ringing in the background. The price was fine for our budget. We will always treasure our time at the Beehive, which we considered our home in Lincoln for six visits to England.

Our small family had a fabulous three days in Lincoln. It is great that everything is so near to the house, so we were able to see a lot in 3 days. We walked up and down the steep hill a few times....
The Beehive had everything we needed; it was very new and clean and has its own modern, fresh character. The round staircase that goes through the house looks stunning and makes the place very airy and bright. The house sits in this very quiet development and the biggest plus is that it is a stone throw away from the castle / old town centre at the top of Steep Hill with all the little shops, galleries, bars and eateries. There is still lots to see, so we will come back soon.

Beautiful modern property centrally located and a few minutes away from the historic quarter of Lincoln. A safe designated car parking space is a particularly appealing feature for anyone who has concerns about car safety and it is possible to spend a short break without further need for driving.
The Cathedral is a must-see, the Castle worth visiting and Steep Hill will certainly test your fitness. Lincoln is a hidden gem and I would recommend visiting. York and Chester seem to have better PR but Lincoln is their equal. There is nowhere better I can think of to stay when visiting Lincoln than The Beehive, hope to be back.

“In one word, "Perfect""
We were blessed with wonderful weather on our first visit to Lincoln and the lucky choice of selecting the Beehive as our bolt-hole to explore the City made for a wonderful week.
The Beehive is a model of quiet and comfort where a safe and central staircase takes you effortlessly from the lower en suite bedroom via the kitchen/dining area to the main bedroom at the top.

"Loving it in Lincoln - Green with Envy"
Just to let you know that we have returned from our stay at your Beehive. What a great place it is and incredibly well placed for accessing so many places.
Your house was so perfect for what we wanted and we loved the contemporary style and layout of it. The bedrooms and bathrooms were absolutely fine and the beds were so comfortable.
We really enjoyed our stay and have decided that we will return to Lincoln ... once they have flattened Steep Hill!!
Excellent place. So many thanks.

“Cosy, stylish and fabulously located.”
A lovely, warm and welcoming property. Brilliantly located and only a very short walk from the Bailgate. We came up to visit family and I am from this area originally and knew that this should be a great location to visit the cathedral and all other main attractions in Lincoln. The master bedroom has a huge bed and is very comfortable. The bathrooms are new and very clean and large. Good size TV and DVD player, with some DVDs and books. We would certainly want to stay here again and are looking into planning this for the summer.
